Fulvia provides project management and communication consulting services. She specialises in large internal communications projects within major corporations.

Fulvia is an experienced communications manager and project manager with very specialised skills in analysing, developing, writing and designing documents. She also manages the end-to-end document generation process.

She has 19 years' experience in the financial services industry with detailed knowledge of insurance, investment and superannuation products and of financial services in general.

Fulvia and Christopher Balmford worked on various projects at AMP from 1996-2004.  With Christopher, Fulvia:

  • rewrote Product Disclosure Statements  and other documents for clients including Plan B Trustees Limited, and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia
  • rewrote HR policies for Westpac Banking Corporation and
  • was based in-house at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia on a plain-language project for 5 months.

AMP — Notices & Statements Project
Fulvia played a key role on the project as a Communications Manager where she was responsible for:

  • establishing end-to-end processes for the project and managing the project schedule to meet deadlines
  • preparing and implementing a communication plan for AMP staff, advisers and customers
  • establishing document design templates, and testing them on various users
  • rewriting documents in plain language
  • producing thorough business requirements for each new document
  • obtaining sign off on final document.

AMP — Clear Communication Project
Fulvia helped to increase plain language skills and awareness about clear communication throughout AMP. She chaired the Clear Communication Steering Committee, and was responsible for implementing several initiatives which included:

  • producing a Clear Communication Guide
  • designing a training program for staff
  • establishing consistent writing standards across AMP.
