In the email etiquette course we look at the changing conventions of emailing and at the significance of tonein both internal and external emails. Ways of making an email communication effective for both sender and recipient are canvassed—for example, through the difference in shape between an email andletter; useful subject lines; the naming of attachments and threading ofprevious emails. We consider the conventions of correspondence such asaddresses and ccs, salutations and the rules of punctuation and formatting asthey apply to email correspondence.
